MBA Research offers a variety of professional development opportunities for teachers and state leaders, many of which help connect with our curriculum and instructional resources. Some are annual activities and they can be custom designed as well.
Help teachers in your state stay in touch with business and education trends by encouraging them to attend Conclave each October. The annual conference is the premier event for CTE teachers and administrators who work in the areas of business administration: business, entrepreneurship, finance, hospitality/tourism, management/administration, and marketing. The goal of Conclave is to provide local teachers and administrators with a comprehensive overview of contemporary curricula, pedagogy, and program development strategies, including dialogue with leading educators and industry executives.

I have always been impressed with Conclave. The importance of preparing students in CTE through business education is the focus. Business professionals are brought in as well as expert teachers and facilitators.
MBA Research offers workshops to help business educators better prepare their students. Topics include instructions and best practices for using the Learning Center, lesson modules (LAPs), course guides, ethics education resources, and digital badges, as well as using of project management to organize classroom projects and classroom survival tips for new teachers.

Along with our full-time R&D staff, our adjunct Professional Development Team brings recent, real-world experience. Each is highly qualified in terms of experience with MBA Research research, products, and services, and has demonstrated high levels of achievement with their own local programs. All have taught and mentored a wide range of business and marketing students and all have been active in both their student organizations (BPA, DECA, and FBLA) and their professional associations, including ACTE and NBEA.
