Brenda Clark Named CEO Featured

A familiar face in many of your states, Dr. Brenda Clark was named yesterday to assume the leadership role at MBA Research.

Currently Director of Professional Development for the organization, Brenda will succeed long-time CEO Jim Gleason on March 1.

Clark was selected after a nationwide search and independent screening process that culminated in in-person interviews with the MBA Research Board of Trustees during the Vancouver Conclave.  In his announcement, Dr. Dale Winkler (GA), Board Chair, focused on Brenda's career-long engagement with the organization - as a teacher using MBA Research materials, as a part-time consultant and trainer for the organization while still a high school teacher, and as a highly-regarded member of the staff for the past three years.

Dr. Clark's professional experience includes some 34 years of teaching at the secondary, community college and university levels.  She took early retirement from high school teaching to begin a new opportunity working with teachers, districts and state departments from around the country providing professional development to business administration teachers. Since 2015, she has been responsible for the organization's Professional Development Team, Teacher Advisory Network, Conclave, MBA Leadership Forum, and the ongoing professional development initiatives at MBA Research. She has been an active leader at both the state and national levels in both professional and student organizations and has received numerous awards at the state and national levels. She has been recognized as an outstanding presenter.
