Columbus Chapter of the American Marketing Association Joins Coalition to Support Business Education Featured

We welcome the Columbus Chapter of the American Marketing Association as a new member of the Ohio affiliate of the National Business Coalition for Education. The Coalition consists of professional/trade associations, foundations, and chambers of commerce. It is a partnership between Coalition members, the Ohio Department of Education, and MBA Research and Curriculum Center. The goal is to provide a skilled workforce for Ohio businesses with a focus on management, marketing, and finance. The concept is designed to help strengthen and promote Business Administration programs in Career Technical Education (CTE). 

AMA Columbus is the region's largest marketing association, offering professional development experiences, networking opportunities, marketing resources, best practices, and community involvement to engage marketers from a broad spectrum of disciplines. The chapter provides marketers with the connections and information they need to advance their careers. Chartered in 1950, the chapter boasts more than 200 members, from Fortune 500 executives to small-business owners and students. 

Coalitions consist of professional/trade associations, foundations, and chambers of commerce working in partnership with their respective state education departments and MBA Research and Curriculum Center. The concept is designed to help strengthen and promote Business Administration programs in Career Technical Education (CTE). Participating associations formally endorse MBA Research's industry-validated National Business Administration Standards. Students, educators, and business leaders are all sure to benefit from shared knowledge and expertise.
